    A Study of Application for Production Machine Operation Manufacturing Company in Indonesia

    Effective use of machinery is an important element in maintenance performance in the company. There are several ways to measure effectiveness in machinery usage in the manufacturing industry. Among the parameters employed are times of production processes, capability in terms of production quantity and quality, and machinery’s capacity to operate, which is looked at from an economic perspective. Machine operation failures often occur at manufacturing companies in Indonesia. Some of the causal factors are the frequency of machine breakdown due to long usage, cost consumed in machine maintenance, and incorrect application of production machinery. For that reason, the purpose of this study were to examine as to how far these factors are true for the manufacturing company in Indonesia namely is PTP 1 Nusantara, as well as to identify the application of production machinery at this company. The study developed concept model that the factors of production machine application. Machine application factor is the model to examine machine maintenance, which included machine operation efficiency. This model is developed to help the company in developing a more effective production system and strategies, consequently, affecting the study companies’ performance. The research has been done by quantitative analysis. Based on gathered information, study results showed that oversights in machine application, it was found that there were also oversights in the machine maintenance system. This was because the machine applications at the companies haven’t yet to be effective. This is evident from the analysis of data that domain machine condition in this company (min= 1.27), cost of maintenance (min= 1.38), cost of usage (min= 1.26), down time cost (min 1.76), production quantity (min= 1.58) machine maintenance system (min= 1.25). In order to avoid such problems, it is proposed that the company to improve their machine maintenance systems

    Malaria is an infectious disease caused by Plasmodium, which is a single-celled creature that belongs to the group of protozoa. This disease attacks all age groups, both men and women. Malaria can cause death especially in high risk groups namely infants, children under five, pregnant women, besides malaria directly causes anemia and can reduce work productivity. The study design uses a complete randomized design  with 4 treatment groups. Group 1 is the control group without any treatment. Group 2 was injected with 1 × 102 iRBC. Group 3 is injected with 1 × 103 iRBC. Group 4 was injected with 1 × 104. The treatment was given for 30 days. Measurement of body weight was done every day. Examination of the degree of parasitemia was carried out on day 3 after infection with the thin blood smear method. Data measured body weight and degree of parasitemia were analyzed by one way ANOVA and DMRT tests at a significant level of 5%. The results showed a significant difference in body weight between mice infected with parasites versus those not infected. The more doses of parasites that were infected the more it will affect the mice.     Cat memerankan peranan sangat penting pada bangunan, baik rumah, kios, cafe, gedung sekolah dan juga bangunan kantor. Oleh karena itu, cat telah menjadi kebutuhan pokok, baik untuk renovasi maupun untuk membangun bangunan baru, sehingga pasar cat merupakan peluang usaha yang sangat menjanjikan keuntungan besar. Ada bebera jenis cat yang diproduksi oleh PT. ABC  yaitu Innolux Super White, Innobright Super White, Wall Sealer Plus, Innoseal 89 Super White, dan lain-lain. Pada penelitian ini memilih beberapa konsumen dan pada pemilihan jenis merk cat terbaik ini saya menggunakan metode Technique For Other Reference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) metode tersebut ialah metode pengambilan keputusan atau perbandingan untuk memilih suatu keputusan. Hasil penelitian Alternatif A1, Bobot Preferensi0,4267, Perangkingan, 7, Alternatif A2, Bobot Preferensi0,4160, Perangkingan 8, Alternatif A3 Bobot Preferensi, 0,4430, Perangkingan 6, Alternatif A4, Bobot Preferensi, 0,5300, Perangkingan 4, Alternatif A5, Bobot Preferensi 0,9162, Perangkingan 1, Alternatif A7   Bobot Preferensi0,695, Perangkingan 2, Alternatif A10, Bobot Preferensi0,4090, Perangkingan 9. Adapun setelah melakukan perhitungan menggunakan metode Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) dapat kita ketahui yang mana merek cat terbaik atau yang paling baik dari 10 jenis merek cat. Merek cat terbaik atau paling baik adalah merek cat Innocoat dengan hasil nilai ialah 0,9162, dan merek cat ke 2 terbaik atau paling baik adalah Innobright dengan nilai 0,6950

    Penggunaan dekasametason di masyarakat masih banyak walaupun banyak efek yang ditimbulkan. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian deksametason terhadap kadar ALP dan kreatini pada tikus putih (Rattus norvegicus) galur wistar. Hewan coba yang digunakan adalah tikus galur Wistar sebanyak 17 ekor dengan pemberian dosis deksametason yang berbeda (dosis 0 mg/kg BB, 0,27 mg/kg BB, 0,54 mg/kg BB). Deksametason diberikan selama 10 hari. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa deksametason dapat meningkatkan kadar ALP dan kreatinin

    Cahaya merupakan salah satu faktor eksternal yang dapat memacu pertumbuhan dan mengendalikan berbagaiproses biologis dalam tubuh unggas, salahsatunyareproduksi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahuipengaruh fotoperiode terhadap berat ovarium dan jumlahfolikel burung puyuh. Objek penelitian adalah burungpuyuh betina sebanyak 6 ekor. Sampel dibagi dalam 3kelompok masing-masing 2 ekor, terdiri dari kelompokkontrol (12 jam terang, 12 jam gelap) perlakuan 1 (24 jamterang) dan perlakuan 2 (24 jam gelap). Folikel ovariumpada perlakuan 1 memiliki jumlah folikel yang lebih banyak dibandingkan dengan kelompok perlakuan yang lain. Selain itu pada kelompok perlakuan 1 juga terdapatfolikel-folikel yang sudah matang. Hampir sama denganpada kelompok kontrol terdapat folikel-folikel matangnamun jumlah folikel yang tidak matang lebih sedikitdaripada kelompok perlakuan 1. Kelompok perlakuan 2hanya terdiri dari folikel-folikel yang tidak matang. Rataanberat ovarium pada kelompok kontrol dan perlakuan 1tidak jauh berbeda, namun pada perlakuan 2 memiliki beratyang lebih rendah. Pemberian cahaya 24 jam berpengaruh meningkatkan jumlah folikel dan berat ovaium padaburung puyuh. Pemberian cahaya 24 jam berpengaruhmeningkatkan konsumsi pakan dan berat badan padaburung puyuh

    Pengaruh Konsumsi Alkohol terhadap jumlah Eritrosit dan Hemoglobin Mencit (Mus musculus)

    Alcohol is an organic compound that is often used in our life. In science research, alcohol is used as a solvent, fuel, and antiseptic. Alcohol if consumed in large quantities has side effects on the body that affect physiologically, one of which is nerve damage, liver and kidney damage, and affects the fetus if consumed by pregnant women. In addition, it is known that alcohol can affect erythrocytes and hemoglobin. In this study, alcohol was given to mice (Mus musculus) to see the effect on the number of erythrocytes and hemoglobin. This study used beer concentrations of 4% and 1% and distilled water as a control. The experimental animals used were 9 mice which would be induced by 1 mL of alcohol for 5 days. The parameters used were the number of erythrocytes and hemoglobin. Data collection was carried out 3 times after 5 days of alcohol induction. The result of this study is that alcohol can reduce the number of erythrocytes and hemoglobin in mice. Decreased erythrocytes and hemoglobin in mice  have an impact on other body organ damage
